About Drumlanrig Castle
Drumlanrig Castle and Country Estate is part of the larger Queensberry Estate; a large Scottish estate based in the rolling hills of Dumfries and Galloway in the South of Scotland.
Drumlanrig Castle is regarded as one of the finest examples of 17th Century Renaissance architecture in Scotland, and opens for tours on selected dates throughout the year. The Gardens and Adventure Playground are open from Easter to Autumn, with the wider walks and bike trails and beautiful holiday accommodation on the estate open all year round.
There are a range of country pursuits and outdoor activities on offer from cycling and mountain biking to fishing, simulated game days and even an independent activity centre with an assault course, paintball and more.
